Yarns:
Small amount of Double knitting/light worsted yarn in
various colors
Hooks & Notions:
Hook – 3.50 mm
Wool Sewing Needle
Scissors
GAUGE:
Tension/Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect
I use US Crochet stitch terminology

INSTRUCTIONS

Stitch Explanation: SC4tog (sc decrease) Insert hook into ST and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next ST and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next ST and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next ST and draw up a loop. (Inserted hook into 4 CHs/STS)Yarn over, draw through all 5 loops on hook.
Number Zero:
CH 15. SL ST into 1st CH to form ring. Work 20 SC into ring SL ST into 1st SC. FO and leave a tail for sewing or weave in ends.
Number One:
CH 12. Work 1 SC in 2nd CH from hook and 1 SC in each Ch (11 SC). FO and leave a tail for sewing or weave in ends.
Number Two:
CH 23. Work 1 SC in 2nd CH from hook and then work as follow in the next 21 CHs – SC2tog, SC2tog, 1 SC, SC2tog, SC2tog, SC2tog, 5 SC, 3 SC in next CH, 4 SC. FO and leave a tail for sewing or weave in ends.
Number Three:
CH 28. Work 1 SC in 2nd CH from hook and then work as follow in the next 26 CHs – 1 SC, SC4tog, 1 SC, SC4tog, 1 SC, 1 SC, 3 SC in next CH, 1 SC, 1 SC, SC4tog, 1 SC, SC4tog, 1 SC, 1 SC. FO and leave a tail for sewing or weave in ends.
Number Four:
CH 29. Work 1 SC in 2nd CH from hook and then work as follow in the next 27 CHs – 5 SC, SC4tog, 6 SC, SC4tog, 8 SC. FO and leave a tail for sewing or weave in ends. Form the shape four and sew the two ends over each other.
Number Five:
CH 23. Work 1 SC in 2nd CH from hook and then work as follow in the next 21 CHs – 2 SC, 2 SC in next CH, 1 SC, 2 SC in next CH, 1 SC, 2 SC in next CH, 1 SC, 1 SC, SC4tog, 1 SC, SC4tog, 1 SC, 1 SC, 1 SC. FO and leave a tail for sewing or weave in ends.
Number Six:
CH 12. SL ST to form ring, SC in each CH (12 SC). SL ST in first SC, CH 6, SC in 2nd CH from hook, 3 SC, 2 SC in next CH, SL ST in 2nd SC of ring. FO and leave a tail for sewing or weave in ends.
Number Seven:
CH 17. Work 1 SC in 2nd CH from hook and then work as follow in the next 15 CHs – 1 SC, 1 SC, 1 SC, 1 SC, SC4tog, 1 SC in each CH until end. FO and leave a tail for sewing or weave in ends.
Number Eight:
CH 24. Work 1 SC in 2nd CH from hook and then work as follow in the next 22 CHs – SC2tog, SC2tog, SC2tog, 1 SC, SC2tog, SC2tog, SC2tog, SC3 into next CH, SC2 in next CH, SC2 in next CH, SC2 in next CH, 1 SC, SC2 in next CH, SC2 in next CH, SC2 in next CH, 1 SC. FO and leave a tail for sewing or weave in ends. Sew loose sides together to form the shape of an eight.
Number Nine:
Work exactly the same as for Number Six. FO and leave a tail for sewing or weave in ends. Turn upside down.
