Granny Groovy Patch Blanket – Part Two

A crochet along mystery blanket in five parts ūüôā
PART ONE:¬†September 09¬†‚Äď PLEASE CHECK HERE FOR ALL THE REQUIREMENTS!

I use US Crochet stitch terminology
 
PART TWO:
Flower Granny Square: Make 12
SIZE: 10 CM X 10 CM
With 4,00 mm Hook and yarn
Make a magic ring, CH 3
 
Rnd 1: CH3 (counts as 1 DC), work 11 DC into ring, SL ST into top of 3rd CH
change color
Rnd 2: CH3 (counts as 1 DC), work a 2 DC cluster into same ST,
*CH2, work a 3 DC cluster into the next ST. Repeat from * 10 more times (12 petals made)
change color
Rnd 3: join yarn into a space between 2 petals ‚ÄstCH2 (counts as 1 HDC), work 2 HDC into same space, work 3 DC, 3CH, 3 DC into next space (corner made).
*Work 3 HDC into next 2 spaces, work 3 DC, 3 CH, 3 DC into next space. Repeat from * 2 more times, work 3 HDC into next space. Join with a SL ST into top of 2 CH
change color
Rnd 4:¬†join yarn into the 3CH space of a corner ‚ÄstCH3 (counts as 1 DC), work 2DC into corner, CH3, work 3 DC into corner, work 3 DC into next 3 spaces. *Work 3 DC, 3CH,3 DC into each corner,¬†work 3 DC into next 3 spaces. Repeat from * 2 more times.¬†Join with a SL ST into the top of 3 CH.
change to cream
Rnd 5:¬†join yarn into the 3CH space of a corner ‚ÄstCH3 (counts as 1 DC), work 1 DC into corner, CH2, work 2 DC into corner, work 1 DC into each ST until next corner.
*Work 2 DC, 2 CH, 2 DC into corner, work 1 DC into each ST until next corner. Repeat from * 2 more times. Join with a SL ST into the top of 3 CH. Fasten off and weaves in ends.
Color Sequence for blocks:
Make 3: light brown, grey, blue, beige, cream
Make 3: blue, beige, light brown, grey, cream
Make 3: beige, light brown, grey, blue, cream
Make 3: grey, blue, beige, light brown, cream
 With the 3,50 mm hook SC two blocks together to make one rectangle.
Repeat for the remaining blocks
6 x Rectangles
Work a DC row around each rectangle:
Join yarn into a corner, CH3, 1DC into same space, 2 CH, 2 DC into same space, work 1 DC into each ST until next corner.
*Work 2 DC, 2 CH, 2 DC into corner, work 1 DC into each ST until next corner. Repeat from * 2 more times.
Make 3 x Rectangles with dark brown yarn

 

Make 3 x Rectangles with blue yarn

 

How to work in between two squares
SIZE: 27 CM X 14 CM (each rectangle)
