Sew Bobble or Small Ribbon on top of hat. Sew hat onto head.

I did not stuff my elf’s hat because I wanted to have it flop over.
I secured my ‘flop’ with a single stitch before fastening off my hat tail.

I glued my blue ribbon around the elf’s neck for a scarf.
CHRISTMAS TREE SKITTLE BALL:

With green yarn complete the instructions for the Head, BUT work into the BACK-LOOPS only – then continue as follows – NOTE: for this part you will be working back upwards towards the center of the head.

TURN, working into back-loops  work 4 SC into each loop for approx 2 rounds,
then 3 to 2 SC into each loop for approx 4 rounds,
then 3 to 4 SC into each loop until last loop.

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
With yarn needle pull yarn through the top center of the tree top so that the yarn is on the inside.
With a small amount of fiberfill/ toy stuffing stuff tree top lightly.
 Sew tree top onto body.
With some red and cream yarn embroider french knots all over tree top.
