Finishing:
Head
Glue or Sew Eyes and nose onto the cream piece.
Put the two head pieces together and sew through the inside loops together.

Before closing, stuff head with some fiber fill/ toy stuffing – careful not to over stuff 🙂

With some yellow yarn weave a few strands through the loops to create hair over the top of the face.

Hair Curls:
With crochet hook, join yarn with a SL ST, CH 11, work 4 SC into 2nd CH from hook,

work 4 SC into each ST until end – Repeat for other side.

Dress:
Join green yarn into first exposed loop of row  of dress – SL ST into first loop , work 1 SC into same loop, work 2 SC into each loop – work 1 SC and 1 SL ST into last loop
Embroider some French Knots onto the dress.
Making up the Cozy:
Sew wings onto cozy as shown in photo,

Sew or glue dress over wings.

Sew or glue head into position.

NOTE: I added a small red bow to one of the curls before attaching head to cozy.

Arms and Legs:

There are 3 options to make the arms and legs;
1. Use some beads and beading thread to create the arms and legs like I did. I made sure to leave enough thread at the ends to knot them into the dress to attach the arms and legs then I weaved the remaining thread thru the stitching and trimmed.
2. Crochet some single chains and attach to fairy. Arms about 13 chain (12 SC) and Legs 16 chain (15 SC)
3. Your own imagination =D
The Finishing Touches:
I attached some press buttons (snap fasteners) to secure my cozy around the wine bottle.
Optional – Crochet some loops and add buttons

I printed some tags and attached this one to my wine bottle 🙂
