Repeat from * all around leaving one long side empty to attach to the opposite side of the large circle square.
NOTE: when reaching the join of the two squares – make a button loop of approx 8/9/10 CH depending on the size of your button.

Sew the two sides of the bag together.

Work up 8 SC along the bottom of the back and work 8 SC rows for length of strap required; repeat for other side/ OR CH 9; work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook and work 1 SC into each; TURN;

Finishing: Add a button for the flap and/or chain a string to weave thru the top round/row of the bag just beneath the opening. If preferred weave a ribbon 🙂

For the string I chained approx 200 STS and added some beads to the ends.
