My Sister-In-Law is newly pregnant with a boy and I wanted to make her something special. In the midst of doing the Zooty Owl Cal, I got inspired to make my own baby groovyghan using some of the Cal squares.

I used the following Zooty Owl CAL squares –
I joined the squares with a whip stitch method, crocheted rows of Double Crochet on each side, joined the two big pieces with a whip stitch method then finished with 3 rnds of 3 Double Crochet Clusters and a final rnd of Single Crochet.

  1. I love this blanket Joanita, you have made a great job of joining all those squares together and they look very neat. The colours you have chosen are beautiful and fresh and perfect for the Spring and Summertime. Well done 🙂
