Granny Groovy Patch Blanket – Part Five

A crochet along mystery blanket in five parts 🙂
PART FIVE: October 07
I use US Crochet stitch terminology
 
PART FIVE:
Flower Border
With 4,00 mm Hook and blue yarn
Rnd 1: Work 1 DC into every ST, working 3 DC, 2 CH, 3 DC into each corner.
Note when working down the sides – work 2 DC into each row.
Fasten off and change color to cream
Rnd 2: starting in a corner and working down a striped side (there should be 161 STS) – Work 3CH (counts as 1 DC), 1 DC, 2 CH, 2 DC into corner.
*Work 1 SC into next ST, SKIP 2 STS,
this part is worked into the same single ST:
{work 2 DC, CH 3, SL ST, CH3 work 1 TR, CH3, SL ST, CH3, work 2 DC}
SKIP STS, work 1 SC into next.
Repeat from * until end of stripey section – work 2 DC, 2 CH, 2 DC into corner
Work 1 SC into each ST down side.
Work 2 DC, 2 CH, 2DC into corner
*Work 1 SC into next ST, SKIP 2 STS,
this part is worked into the same single ST:
{work 2 DC, CH 3, SL ST, CH3 work 1 TR, CH3, SL ST, CH3, work 2 DC}
SKIP STS, work 1 SC into next.
Repeat from * until end of stripey section – work 2 DC, 2 CH, 2 DC into corner
Work 1 SC into each ST down side. SL ST into top of 3 CH.
Fasten off and change color to dark brown.
Rnd 3: starting in a corner – Work 3CH (counts as 1 DC), 1 DC, 2 CH, 2 DC into corner.
*Work 1 SC into next 2 STS,
SL ST into next,
work 3 DC into next,
SL ST into top of 3CH,
work 3 DC into space after next 3CH,
SL ST into top of TR,
work 3 DC into space before next 3CH,
SL ST into top of next 3CH,
work 3 DC into next ST. Repeat from * until end of row, work 1 SC into each SC of previous round.
Work 2 DC, 1 DC, 2 CH, 2 DC into corner.
*Work 1 SC into next 2 STS,
SL ST into next,
work 3 DC into next,
SL ST into top of 3CH,
work 3 DC into space after next 3CH,
SL ST into top of TR,
work 3 DC into space before next 3CH,
SL ST into top of next 3CH,
work 3 DC into next ST. Repeat from * until end of row, SL ST into top of 3 CH.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
