    Hi Mamatha 🙂
I unfortunately do not know Stylecraft – the yarn I use if I get a 100 grams it will be more than enough to make the scarf and the cushion! You can look here to learn about my yarn and how to substitute:
    http://creativecrochettoys.blogspot.co.za/p/yarn-substitution.html

However I have asked a fellow designer and she does agree that it will be more than enough 🙂

  2. HI Joanita,

Thank you. I am planning to make a cushion cover for a 50cmX50 cm cushion. If I get 100 grams balls of stylecraft special DK will it be enough for both scarf and cushion cover . Optionally if I do not have enough yarn I can sew the crocheted piece to a plain cushion cover. Thank you in advance.

    Thanks,
    Mamatha

    Thank you Mamatha 🙂
This type of project is worked up with scraps of yarn, all the leftovers from previous projects. But if you want to purchase yarn then for exp. double knit light worsted maximum 4 colors of 50 grams each and you might still have yarn leftover 🙂

  5. Something tells me that I can't even figure out how to post my questions on this page. Sorry if it posts more than once. Just hope it posts at all. Thanks again for your help and your patience. Laura

  6. Please Help! What am I doing wrong? I was able to link to Parts 1 and 2, but can't link to Part 3 of the instructions. Part 4 will be available soon. I haven't crocheted in a long time and have had fun working on this project. But it is making me think at times. Please help with the links. I really want to complete this very inspiring project. Thank you so much. Laura

  7. I want to do this. But I am pretty new to crocheting and have just 3 to 4 skeins of yarn and I will be using that for my granny square blanket. If I have to buy yarn how much do I need and how many colours? Will I be bale to use it for any other project on your blog?

Lovely Blog. Love your stuff. Hope I will make each and every one of them some time.

    Thanks,
    Mamatha

  8. Really looking forward to this!

This type of project really works best with different colors. This project in particular will also work great with different types of yarn. One color yarn only (even if it is variegated) might get lost in the design 🙂

  10. Can't wait but just wondering …
Will this work with single yarn, maybe varigated if not solid color

  11. Awesome I store my scraps in coffee tubs. I'm looking forward to cleaning up my tub collection. I have 8 tubs. I love colorful scarves

Awesome! I love projects that can use stash scraps 🙂 I always have loads when I have designed and made other projects!! That is why these challenges have become a favorite for me to design 🙂

Yes!! It will even work with different thickness too. If using different yarn with each with a different thickness will give a very interesting textured end result 🙂

  16. Stash busting CAL! Yes please! Looking forward to the 20th
