Requirements:
Yarn – I used small amounts of double knitting/light worsted yarn in various colors and small amounts of 4 ply
Hook – For the double knitting/light worsted I used a 4, 00 mm hook & for the 4 ply a 3,50 mm hook
Please note you can use any yarn for this project – chunky or stiff yarn is NOT recommended
GAUGE:
Tension/Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect.
PART FOUR:
Final Trimming:
Join yarn into a stitch on the first round motif – use photos as guide.
US TERMS
ROW 1: Work up 41 SC along the bottom edge, TURN
ROW 2: CH1, work 1 SC into first ST, *CH 6, SKIP 4 STS, work 1 SC into next ST. Repeat until end (8 x 6 chain loops), TURN
ROW 3: Work 1 SC, 1 HDC, 1 DC, 1 TR, 1 DC, 1 HDC, 1 SC into each 6 CH loop until end. TURN
Change color
ROW 4: CH1, work 1 SC into last SC worked. *CH 7, work 1 SC into next 2 SC of previous row.
Repeat until end (8 x 7 chain loops), TURN
ROW 5: CH1, work 1 SC into 1ST SC. Work 1 SC, 1 HDC, 1 DC, 3 TR, 1 DC, 1 HDC, 1 SC into each 7 chain loop until end, work 1 SC into last SC.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Repeat ROW 1 – 5 for other end!
UK TERMS

MAKING A FRINGE:
Cut approx 6 x 30 cm yarn tails, insert hook into middle TR (DTR) of last row worked,
pull all 6 tails through TR (DTR)
Create a large loop and pull remaining tails trough loop – use photos as guide
Repeat 🙂
