A 7 day Quick Fire Scraps Of Yarn Crochet Along!
An Amigurumi Mystery Pattern!
This is what I like to call a “Quickfire’ crochet along!
Starting on the Monday – I will post a small part of the pattern, continuing the next day until the Sunday when the last part will be posted!

Basic Material Requirements:
Double knitting / medium worsted (No 4) yarn  – this is for the base needs to be sturdy
Double knitting / light worsted (No 3) yarn – recommended to have an assortment of different colors (exp: pink, chocolate, cream, mint, blue, fushia, red, green)
Hooks – 4,00 mm & 3, 50 mm
Yarn needle
Fiberfill/toy stuffing

What you will crochet:

PART ONE – MONDAY JUNE 27:

BASE:
With double knitting / medium worsted (No 4) yarn and 4, 00 mm hook
make a magic circle

This part is worked in continuous rounds, a stitch marker is recommended to help you keep track of your rounds.

RND 1: CH 1, work 6 SC into ring
RND 2: Work 2 SC into each SC of previous round, (12 SC)
RND 3: *Work 2 SC into next SC and 1 SC into next SC. Repeat from * all around ( 18 SC)
RND 4: *Work 2 SC into next SC and 1 SC into next 2 SC. Repeat from * all around (24 SC)
RND 5: *Work 2 SC into next SC and 1 SC into next 3 SC. Repeat from * all around (30 SC)
RND 6: For this round only work into back-loops – Work 1 SC into each SC of previous round (30 SC)
RND 7: Work 1 SC into each SC of previous round (30 SC)
RND 8: *Work 2 SC into next SC, work 1 SC into next 4 SC. Repeat from * all around (36 SC)
RND 9-10: Work 1 SC into each SC of previous round (36 SC)

TOP:

RND 1: CH 1, work 6 SC into ring
RND 2: Work 2 SC into each SC of previous round, (12 SC)

STEP ONE: Stuff pole firmly with fiberfill/toy stuff (being careful not to over-stuff)

STEP TWO: Using leftover tail sew the top onto the base – using the inside loops of the base as guide.

STEP THREE: Before closing completely stuff base with fiberfill/toy-stuff. Shape base and cone. Sew close and weave in ends.

PART THREE – WEDNESDAY JUNE 29:

DONUT:
With double knitting / light worsted (No 3) yarn) yarn and 3, 50 mm hook
CH 18 SL ST to first CH to form a ring

This part is worked in continuous rounds, a stitch marker is recommended to help you keep track of your rounds.

RND 1: *Work 2 SC into next SC and 1 SC into next 2 SC. Repeat from * all around (24 SC)
RND 2: *Work 2 SC into next SC and 1 SC into next 3 SC. Repeat from * all around (30 SC) – NOTE: at this point check that the hole goes over the pole of part two – if your tension is too tight – switch to the 4, 00 mm hook!

RND 1: *Work 2 SC into next SC and 1 SC into next 2 SC. Repeat from * all around (24 SC)
RND 2: *Work 2 SC into next SC and 1 SC into next 3 SC. Repeat from * all around (30 SC) – NOTE: at this point check that the hole goes over the pole of part two – if your tension is too tight – switch to the 4, 00 mm hook!

**This is optional – you can glue the icing over the donut if you prefer – this is dependent who this item is made for. For toddlers and babies rather sew the icing on.

CREAM:
With double knitting / light worsted (No 3) yarn) yarn and 3, 50 mm hook
CH 18 SL ST to first CH to form a ring

This part is worked in continuous rounds, a stitch marker is recommended to help you keep track of your rounds.

RND 1: *Work 2 SC into next SC and 1 SC into next 2 SC. Repeat from * all around (24 SC)
RND 2: *Work 2 SC into next SC and 1 SC into next 3 SC. Repeat from * all around (30 SC) – NOTE: at this point check that the hole goes over the pole of part two – if your tension is too tight – switch to the 4, 00 mm hook!
RND 3: *Work 2 SC into next SC, work 1 SC into next 4 SC. Repeat from * all around (36 SC)

Repeat from * working either DC, SC or HDC. Work the type of stitches randomly continuing all the way  in a spiral to the last center loop!
Fasten off and weave in ends

PART SEVEN – SUNDAY JULY 3:

CHERRY/STRAWBERRY:
With double knitting / light worsted (No 3) yarn) yarn and 3, 50 mm hook
Make a magic circle

This part is worked in continuous rounds, a stitch marker is recommended to help you keep track of your rounds.

RND 1: CH 1, work 6 SC into ring
RND 2: Work 2 SC into each SC of previous round, (12 SC)
RND 3-5:
Work 1 SC into each ST all around (12 SC)
RND 6: *Work 2 SC into next SC and 1 SC into next SC. Repeat from * all around ( 18 SC)
RND 7: For this round work into back-loops only  Work 1 SC into each ST all around (18 SC)
RND 8: *SC2tog, work 1 SC into next SC. Repeat from, * all around (12 SC)
Stuff with fiberfill/toy-stuffing
RND 9: *SC2tog all around (6 SC)
Fasten off and sew opening closed and weave in ends

LEAVES: rejoin yarn into any loop on round 7;  SL ST into next SC;
*CH 7; work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook, work 1 SC into next CH;
