Tension/Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect
I use US Crochet stitch terminology
Abbreviations:
CH – chain
SC – single crochet
HDC – half double crochet
DC – double crochet
DECR – work 2 STS together (SC2tog for this pattern)
MM – move stitch marker
SL ST – slip stitch
FO – fasten off
INSTRUCTIONS:
Baking Tray:
Size: 14cm x 10cm worked with a 3.50mm hook and double knitting/light worsted yarn
This part is made by working flat and then in the round.
With yarn, CH 26
Row 1: Work 1 SC in second CH from hook. Work I SC in each ST until end of row (25 SC), turn
Row 2-20: CH 1, 1 SC in each ST until end of row (25 SC), turn
Row 21: CH 1, 1 SC in each ST until end of row (25 SC)
Continue as follows: continue up the side, work 1 SC in same ST, work 1 SC for each row (20 SC), work 1 SC in same ST, work 24 SC along bottom, work 20 SC up other side (90 SC). SL ST in next SC
Continue working in rounds:
Next rnd: For this rnd only work in the front loops. CH 1, 1 SC in each ST around (90 SC). SL ST in next SC.
Next rnd: CH 1, 1 SC in each ST around (90 SC). SL ST in next SC. FO and weave in ends.
Icing Sugar Tube:
Size: 7cm in length worked with a 3.50mm hook and double knitting/light worsted yarn
This part is made by working in continuous rounds, so you may want to use a stitch marker to keep record of your current rnd.
With yarn, CH 9
Rnd 1: Work 1 SC in second CH from hook. Place a stitch marker in the last SC to designate the end of the rnd. Work I SC in each ST until end of rnd (8 SC) Continue working in the round, work 8 SC across, SC in first SC made (16 SC)
Rnd 2-13: Work 1 SC in each ST around (16 SC). MM
Rnd 14: SC2tog, work 1 SC in next six STS, SC2tog, work 1 SC in next six STS (14 SC)
Rnd 15: SC2tog, work 1 SC in next five STS, SC2tog, work 1 SC in next five STS (12 SC)
Rnd 16: SC2tog, work 1 SC in next four STS, SC2tog, work 1 SC in next four STS (12 SC)
Push fiberfill through opening and stuff lightly, DO NOT push fiberfill to the bottom
Rnd 17: For this rnd only work in the back loops. SC2tog, work 1 SC in next three STS, SC2tog, work 1 SC in next three STS (8 SC)
Change yarn color:
Rnd 18-19: Work 1 SC in each ST around (8 SC). FO, sew opening close and weave in ends.
Roll bottom up a little bit, sew or glue in place.
Cookie Icing:
Size: 5cm in diameter worked with a 3.50mm hook and double knitting/light worsted yarn
This part is made by working in continuous rounds, so you may want to use a stitch marker to keep record of your current rnd.
Rnd 1: With yarn, CH 2. Work 6 SC in second CH from hook. Place a stitch marker in the last SC to designate the end of the rnd.
Rnd 2: Work 2 SC in each ST around (12 SC). MM
Rnd 3: *Work 2 SC in first ST and 1 SC in next ST. Repeat from * around (18 SC). MM
Rnd 4: *Work 2 SC in first ST and 1 SC in next two STS. Repeat from * around (24 SC). MM
Rnd 5: *Work 1 SC in next ST, 2 HDC in next ST, 1 SC in next ST. Repeat from * seven more times. FO and weave in ends.
Note: To give the icing more texture, every rnd can be worked in the back loops or for a smooth icing work through both loops.
