This part is worked onto the piece from Part Five:

Holding the piece sideways, work up 6 SC on the side – see photos;
into last ST (same place as last SC worked) – work 2 CH, 1 SC – to create corner;
continue along the top and work up 5 SC.

Note: This is ROW 1 – so it will be 5 SC, [1 SC, 2 CH, 1 SC] to create corner, work 5 SC
TURN

ROW 2: CH 1, work 1 SC into next 6 SC;
work [1 SC, 2 CH, 1 SC] into 2 CH space;
work 1 SC into next 6 SC, TURN
ROW 3: CH 1, work 1 SC into next 7 SC;
work [1 SC, 2 CH, 1 SC] into 2 CH space;
work 1 SC into next 7 SC, TURN
CHANGE COLOR ON LAST ST
ROW 4: CH 1, work 1 SC into next 8 SC;
work [1 SC, 2 CH, 1 SC] into 2 CH space;
work 1 SC into next 8 SC, TURN
ROW 5: CH 1, work 1 SC into next 9 SC;
work [1 SC, 2 CH, 1 SC] into 2 CH space;
work 1 SC into next 9 SC, TURN
ROW 6: CH 1, work 1 SC into next 10 SC;
work [1 SC, 2 CH, 1 SC] into 2 CH space;
work 1 SC into next 10 SC, TURN
CHANGE COLOR ON LAST ST

Continue working pattern [working 1 SC into each SC of previous row and working [1 SC, 2 CH, 1 SC] into each 2 CH corner space, changing colors every after every 3rd row;
Final ROW 27: CH 1, work 1 SC into next 30 SC;
work [1 SC, 2 CH, 1 SC] into 2 CH space;
work 1 SC into next 30 SC.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

ASSEMBLING THE SECOND CUSHION SQUARE:

Position the first Spiral Square as shown in the photo;
and sew (SL ST, SC, Yarn & Needle) into position.
