MAKE 4 FAIRY-TALE SQUARES FOR THE Fairy-Tale square pillow:
FIND THE SELECTION HERE!
Sew 4 Fairy-Tale Themed Granny Squares together to form a block.
Weave in all ends.
I used the Whipstitch Method – but you can crochet the squares together 🙂
Position the two large squares over each other, with right sides facing outwards.
Starting top left corner SC left side, bottom and then right side together.
Attach the rectangle (small back piece)  to the front panel only  and then SC together.
The rectangle now forms a flap over the opening towards the back panel.
Flip over the flap and then position the flower to fit underneath the 10 CH opening
of the rectangle border. Sew into position.
Border:
Starting in a corner work as follows:
Rnd 1 : CH3, skip 2 STS, SL ST into next ST, then SKIP 1 ST, SL ST into next ST. Repeat from * right around. SL ST into first 3 CH space.
Rnd 2: CH 2, work 1 DC, 1 TR, 1 DC into same space, CH 2 and SL ST into same space.
*SL ST into next 3 CH space –  CH 2, then work 1 DC, 1 TR, 1 DC into same space, CH 2 and SL ST into same space. Repeat from * all around., then SL ST into top of 2 CH and fasten off. Weave in all ends.
