Moya 100% Cotton – Oasis 50 g (135 m/ 148 yards)
Weight – Double Knit
Hooks & Notions:
Hook 3.50 mm
Yarn needle
Abbreviations:
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet
Notes:
I use US Crochet stitch terminology.
Due to the nature of this pattern – the yarn and hook used is only a suggestion and any substitute may be used.
Size of finished product will vary depending on yarn and also size of hook used.
Size: approx 120 cm in length – I used one complete ball of Moya
INSTRUCTIONS:
Multiple of 3 + 2
ROW 1: Work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook; *CH 2; SKIP 2 CH; then work 1 SC into next CH.
Repeat from * until end of row, TURN
ROW 2: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC), work 1 DC into same ST; then work 3 DC into each SC of previous row until last SC. Work 2 DC into last SC, TURN.
ROW 3: CH 1; work 1 SC into first ST; *CH 2; then work 1 SC into center DC of 3 DC group. Repeat from * until end of row, working 1 SC into 3rd of 3 CH; TURN
Repeat row 2 & 3 for pattern and for the required length.
Flower: (optional)
Approx 5 cm x 5 cm in diameter
Make a magic ring
RND 1: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC), work 11 DC into ring, then SL ST into top of 3 CH (12 DC). Fasten off and then weave in ends
RND 2: Join new yarn into any.
*SL ST into next 2 STS, CH 3, then work 2 DC into same ST. Repeat from * until end of round (6 x petals). SL ST into first ST, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
