NOTE: Depending on your yarn and hook – to reach the correct size to match the previous squares –
you  can either work in SC; or HDC (which I did); or DC for your last round

Work 1 ST into each DC and 1 CH space – then 2 STS into the corner space at the join;
1 ST into the join and then 2 STS into the corner space – continue to work 1 DC into
each DC and 1 CH space – THIS will give you 35 STS across
(This count DOES NOT Include the outside corner 3 STS)

SC:

RND 5: CH 1; work 3 SC into corner; work 1 SC into each DC and 1 CH space until corner;
*work 3 SC into corner; work 1 SC into each DC and 1 CH space until corner. Repeat twice more.

RND 5: CH 2 (counts as 1 HDC); work 2 HDC into corner; work 1 HDC into each DC and 1 CH space until corner;
*work 3 HDC into corner; work 1 HDC into each DC and 1 CH space until corner. Repeat twice more.

*work 3 DC into corner; work 1 DC into each DC and 1 CH space until corner. Repeat twice more.
