Rose (Flowers) – I made two:

First Part:
With first color: CH 5; SL ST to first CH to form a ring.

RND 1: CH 1; work 14 SC into ring; join with a SL ST into first SC.
RND 2: CH 1; work 2 SC into each SC of previous round (28 SC);
RND 3; Repeat round 2 ( 56 SC);
NOTE: depending on yarn and hook the next round is optional!
RND 4: Repeat round 2 (112 SC).
Fasten Off and leave a tail for sewing flower onto cozy.

Second Part:
With second color; CH 21

ROW 1: Work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook; work 1 HDC into next CH; work 2 DC into each CH until end. Fasten off and leave a tail of approx 20/30 cm.

Thread tail into a yarn needle; coil length of crochet into a flat circle and starting at the beginning of the row; SL ST the bottom edge to the back of the DC stitches you worked. Secure yarn and leave a tail for sewing this part onto the first part of the flower.

Sew second part onto the first part – attach Rose (Flower) to jar cozy.

I have been a crochet designer for more than 10 years. I love to think outside the box and to try and do things a bit differently. I love to learn new techniques and to challenge myself. I firmly believe that crochet should fun and evoke joy and pleasure. Creating and designing is one of my life's passions.
