Hi 🙂
I have added a few substitute yarns to the post – I hope this helps. I know that Lion Brand is available in the United States.
However you can use any bulky/chunky yarn (Bulky (7 wpi)) to make this cowl. Variegated or plain!
I downloaded your Blue Beach Chunky Granny Cowl pattern. I searched for the Funky Stripes Chunky yarn the pattern used. I found out it is sold in Africa and they do not ship overseas. Do you know of any place in the United States that sells this yarn, or is there a comparable yarn I can use to crochet this cowl pattern/
Hi Carol – that ‘button’ is a brooch that looks like a wooden button 🙂
So I just wrap it around and pin it with the brooch.
Can you explain how to fasten it around the neck with that button?
