Yarns:
100 gr Double knitting / medium worsted (No 4) yarn
OR Double knitting / light worsted (No 3) yarn
Yarn needle

Hooks & Notions:
Fiberfill/Toy Stuffing
Size 4.00 mm Hook
OR Size 3.50 mm Hook
Yarn Needle
Stitch Marker

GAUGE:
Tension/Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect BUT your

CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet
I use US Crochet stitch terminology.

Due to the nature of this pattern – the yarn and hook used is only a suggestion and any substitute may be used.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Arms:

Make a magic ring/circle

NOTE: the following is worked in continuous rounds – use a stitch maker/or the running stitch to help keep track of your round.

RND 1: Work 5 SC into ring;
RND 2: work 2 SC into each SC (10 SC);
RND 3: work 1 SC into each SC (10 SC);
RND 4: (making the thumb) – work 1 SC into next 4 SC; work 1 TR into next SC; work 1 SC into next 5 SC (10 STS)
RND 5: work 1 SC into each SC (10 SC)
RND 6: work 1 SC into next 3 SC; SC2tog (invisible decrease); work 1 SC into next 3 SC; SC2tog (invisible decrease) (8 SC)

RND 7-12: work 1 SC into each SC (8 SC);
fasten off and leave a tail

Body:

NOTE: the following is worked in continuous rounds – use a stitch maker/or the running stitch to help keep track of your round.

CH 30; SL ST into first CH to form a ring

RND 1: work 1 SC into each CH (30 SC);
RND 2 – 10: work 1 SC into each SC (30 SC);
RND 11: work 1 SC into next 3 SC; SC2tog (invisible decrease);
*work 1 SC into next 3 SC; SC2tog (invisible decrease).
Repeat from * all around (24 SC)
RND 12-20: work 1 SC into each SC (24 SC)
RND 21: work 1 SC into next 2 SC; SC2tog (invisible decrease);
*work 1 SC into next 2 SC; SC2tog (invisible decrease).
Repeat from * all around (18 SC)
RND 22-24: work 1 SC into each SC (18 SC)

Sew the bottom of the body close (the widest part)

Stuff with fiberfill/toystuffing
