INSTRUCTIONS:

PART FOUR:

At this stage this is what you should have:

2 x Large Squares – Not the same size;
1 x Rectangle
2 x Small Squares
4 x Small Flower Appliques

Assemble:

Step 1: Slip Stitch or Sew the 2 Small Squares together. Weave in any ends.

Step 2: Slip Stitch or Sew the 2 Small Squares onto the side of the piece shown below in the photo.

Step 3: Slip Stitch or Sew the Small Rectangle onto the side of the piece shown below in the photo.
Weave in ends.

Next:

These instructions apply for both pieces.

NOTE: when turning a corner work 1 HDC extra before starting the next section (this will give 4 HDC stitches more)

Stitch Count:
65 + 65 = 130 Long side edges
48 + 48 = 96 Short side edges
4 HDC for corners

TOTAL: 230 HDC

Starting in corner:
*work up 65 HDC evenly along the long edge; turn corner (remember the extra HDC);
work 48 HDC evenly along the short edge; turn corner (remember the extra HDC).
Repeat from * once more; SL ST into first HDC worked; fasten off and weave in ends.

They might require some blocking at this stage to get them into shape.
