Tension/Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect

I use US Crochet stitch terminology

Abbreviations:

CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Colors: A – Baby Yellow; B – Coral; C – Nomvula’s Tangerine; D – Light Rust; E – Chocolate;
F – Champagne; G – Pistachio; H – Cameo Green

PART THREE:

NOTE: Stitch count is IMPORTANT! You will AL WAYS end up with 80 at the end of your row to start the next stitch pattern – (CH, ST, SPACES); when you start a NEXT stitch pattern section – your stitch count NEEDS to be 80.
Don’t let this scare you! This is for the beginners and those who have not done these type of stitch patterns before!

Change Color to G

ROW 54: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC until end (80 SC); TURN

ROW 55: CH 3 (does NOT count as ST); work 1 TR into each SC until end (80 TR); TURN

ROW 56: CH 1; work 1 SC into each TR until end (80 SC); TURN

Change Color to H

ROW 57: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC until end (80 SC); TURN

NOTE: you will ONLY SKIP 2 SC at the START of this row

ROW 58: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); SKIP 2 SC;
(work 5 DC into next SC; SKIP 3 SC) 19 times; work 1 DC into last SC; TURN
(19 x SHELLS)

NOTE: you will ONLY CH 2 at the START and END of this row.

ROW 59; 61; 63; 65: CH 1; work 1 SC into first DC; CH 2;
*work 1 SC into the 3rd DC of 5 DC SHELL; CH 4. Repeat until end; CH 2; work 1 SC into 3rd of 3 CH; TURN

ROW 60; 62; 64; : CH 3 (counts as 1 DC);
(work 5 DC into next SC) 19 times; work 1 DC into last SC; TURN
(19 x SHELLS)

ROW 66: CH 1; work 1 SC into first SC; work 2 SC into 2 CH space; work 1 SC into next SC.
*Work 3 SC into 4 CH space; work 1 SC into next SC. Repeat until last 2 CH space;
NOTE – to get the 80 SC count – you will work 3 SC into the LAST 2 CH space;
work 1 SC into last SC (80 SC); TURN

Change Color to A

ROW 68: CH 3 (this counts as 1 DC); SKIP  next SC; work 1 DC into next SC; work 1 DC into the SKIPPED SC (Cross Stitch made); work Cross Stitch until LAST ST; work 1 DC into last ST (39 Cross Stitches); TURN

ROW 70; 72; 74: CH 3 (this counts as 1 DC); work Cross Stitch until LAST ST; work 1 DC into last ST (39 Cross Stitches); TURN
