Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3 : Light – I used cotton yarn
Color – random
Name: 100% Cotton DK
Brand: MoYa

Meterage: 148 yards(135 meters)
Unit weight: 50 grams (1.76 ounces)
Gauge: 22.0 sts = 4 inches
Needle size: US 2½ – 6 or 3 – 4 mm
Hook size: 3 mm – 4 mm (G)
Fibers: 100% Cotton
Texture: Plied

I use US Crochet stitch terminology.
Due to the nature of this pattern – the yarn and hook used is only a suggestion and any substitute may be used.
Size of finished product will vary depending on yarn and also size of hook used.
Size: approx 15 cm (6 inches) in diameter
Abbreviations:
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop

INSTRUCTIONS:
CH 6; SL ST into first CH to form a ring;
RND 1: Ch 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 11 DC into ring;
SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH;
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Join new color into the back loop of ANY DC
RND 2: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC) or work a STANDING DC;
work 1 FPDC around SAME DC as join;
*work 1 DC into back loop of next DC; work 1 FPDC around SAME DC.**
Repeat from * to ** 10 more times. SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH or into top of STANDING DC.
(12 DC; 12 FPDC)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Join new color into the back loop of ANY DC
RND 3: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC) or work a STANDING DC; work another DC into same DC as join;
work 1 FPDC around next FPDC;
*work 2 DC into back loop of next DC; work 1 FPDC around next FPDC.**
Repeat from * to ** 10 more times. SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH or into top of STANDING DC.
(24 DC; 12 FPDC)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Join new color in-between ANY 2 DC
RND 4: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 3DCtog into SAME SPACE; CH 2; work 1 FPDC around next FPDC;
CH 2.
*Work 4DCtog in-between next 2 DC; CH 2; work 1 FPDC around next FPDC;
CH 2.**
Repeat from * to ** 10 more times. SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH
(12 FPDC; 12 x 4DCtog; 24 x 2 CH spaces)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Join new color with a SC into ANY 2 CH space BEFORE A 4DCtog;
RND 5: *CH 3; work 1 SC into next 2 CH space; CH 1; SKIP FPDC; work 1 SC into next 2 CH space.**
Repeat from 11 times; CH 3; work 1 SC into next 2 CH space; CH 1; SKIP FPDC; SL ST into first SC worked.

*Work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into same space;
