SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)

INSTRUCTIONS:

PART FOUR:

Special Stitches:
Starting Cluster:  CH 3; work 2DCtog into same space – 2 double crochet together
Cluster: work 3DCtog into same space – 3 double crochet together

JOINING THE SQUARES:

Use the SLIP STITCH method to join your 4 squares together to make one big square.
I slipped stitched into the back loops.

BORDER:

With C

Join into a corner 2 CH space

RND 1: Work [1 SC; 2 CH; 1 SC] into corner space; work 1 SC into next 53 DC;
work 1 SC into next 2 CH corner space; CH 2 – this over the join – you will NOT work any SC into the join;
work 1 SC into next 2 CH corner space; work 1 SC into next 53 DC.
*Work [1 SC; 2 CH; 1 SC] into NEXT corner space; work 1 SC into next 53 DC;
work 1 SC into next 2 CH corner space; CH 2 – this over the join – you will NOT work any SC into the join;
work 1 SC into next 2 CH corner space; work 1 SC into next 53 DC.**
Repeat from *to** 2 more times. SL ST into first SC worked.
(110 SC on each SIDE)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Join into any 2 CH corner space

RND 2: Work [Starting Cluster; 3 CH; Cluster] into corner space;
(CH 3; SKIP next 6 SC; work [Cluster; 2 CH; Cluster] into next SC) 7 times; CH 3;
work [Cluster; 2 CH; Cluster] into next 2 CH space (over the join);
(CH 3; SKIP next 6 SC; work [Cluster; 2 CH; Cluster] into next SC) 7 times; CH 3.
*Work [Cluster; 3 CH; Cluster] into next corner space;
(CH 3; SKIP next 6 SC; work [Cluster; 2 CH; Cluster] into next SC) 7 times; CH 3;
work [Cluster; 2 CH; Cluster] into next 2 CH space (over the join);
