Basic stitches, simple shaping and finishing.
Concentration required.
Yarn: Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3 : Light – I used cotton yarn – check the main introduction page!
Hook: 4,00 mm (G)
Size: 23 cm x 23 cm (approx. 9 inches)

Tension/Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect
I use US Crochet stitch terminology
Abbreviations:
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet
HDC – half double crochet
DC – double crochet
TR – treble crochet
BLP – back loop

INSTRUCTIONS:
With Color B
CH 8; SL ST into first CH to form a ring
RND 1: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 15 DC into ring (16 DC);
RND 2: *SL ST in-between next 2 DC; CH 3; SKIP next 2 DC.**
Repeat from * to ** 7 more times; SL ST into 1st CH of first 3 CH loop.
(8 x 3 CH loops)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
With color A; join into any 3 CH loop
RND 3: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 4 DC into same CH space; work [1 SC; 1 CH; 1 SC] into next 3 CH space.
*Work 5 DC into next 3 CH space; work [1 SC; 1 CH; 1 SC] into next 3 CH space.**
Repeat from * to ** 2 more times. SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
With color F; join into any 1 CH space
RND 4: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 4 DC into same space; CH 1; work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into 3rd of next 5 DC group; CH 1.
*Work 5 DC into next 1 CH space; CH 1; work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into 3rd of next 5 DC group, CH 1.**
Repeat from * to ** 2 more times. SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
With color D; join into any 2 CH corner space
RND 5: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work [1 DC; CH 2; 2 DC] into same space; (work 5 DC into next 1 CH space) twice.
*Work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into next 2 CH corner space; (work 5 DC into next 1 CH space) twice.**
Repeat from * to ** 2 more times. SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
With color G; join into any 2 CH corner space;
RND 6: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work [1 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into same space; CH 2; work 1 DC into space between DC groups; (CH 4; work 1 DC into space between DC groups) twice; CH 2.
*Work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into same space; CH 2; work 1 DC into space between DC groups; (CH 4; work 1 DC into space between DC groups) twice; CH 2.**
