Basic stitches, simple shaping and finishing.
Concentration required.

Yarn: Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3 : Light – I used cotton yarn – check the main introduction page!

Hook: 4,00 mm (G)

Size: 23 cm x 23 cm (approx. 9 inches)

Tension/Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect

Abbreviations:
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet
HDC – half double crochet
DC – double crochet
TR – treble crochet
BLP – back loop

SPECIAL STITCHES:

Starting Cluster – CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 2DCtog – 2 double crochet together – into same space or stitch.
Cluster – work 3DCtog – 3 double crochet together – into same space or stitch

Colors:

• Amazon – color A
• Natural – color B
• Butternut – color C
• Teal – color D
• Seafoam – color E
• Thunder – color F
• Cherry – color G

INSTRUCTIONS:

With Color B

CH 8; SL ST into first CH to form a ring

RND 1: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 15 DC into ring (16 DC);

RND 2: *SL ST in-between next 2 DC; CH 3; SKIP next 2 DC.**
Repeat from * to ** 7 more times; SL ST into 1st CH of first 3 CH loop.
(8 x 3 CH loops)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

With color A; join into any 3 CH loop

RND 3: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work [1 CH; 1 DC] into same space; CH 1.
*Work [1 DC; 1 CH; 1 DC] into next 3 CH space; CH 1.**
Repeat from * to ** 6 more times. SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

With color G; join into any 1 CH space in-between 2 DC

RND 4: Work Starting Cluster into 1 CH space; CH 2; work 1 DC into next 1 CH space; CH 2.
*Work Cluster into next 1 CH space (in-between 2 DC); CH 2; work 1 DC into next 1 CH space; CH 2.**
Repeat from * to ** 6 more times. SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

With color E; join into any 2 CH space BEFORE a DC

RND 5: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into same space; CH 1; SKIP next DC; work 2 DC into next 2 CH space; CH 3; SKIP next Cluster.
*Work 2 DC into next 2 CH space; CH 1; SKIP next DC; work 2 DC into next 2 CH space; CH 3; SKIP next Cluster.**
Repeat from * to ** 6 more times. SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

With color D; join into FIRST DC of 2 DC worked BEFORE DC of previous round

RND 6: Work 1 SC into DC; work 1 SC into next DC; work FPDC around RND 4 DC; work 1 SC into next 2 DC;
work 1 SC into each of next 3 CH stitches.
*Work 1 SC into next 2 DC; work FPDC around RND 4 DC; work 1 SC into next 2 DC;
work 1 SC into each of next 3 CH stitches.**
