IF you do use a different yarn your wrap size will differ!
Allow for more yarn due to tension, hook size and yarn used.

Size 3.25 mm
Scissors

Abbreviations:

CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet
HDC – half double crochet
DC – double crochet
TR – treble crochet
BPSC – back post single crochet

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • READ the instructions through first;
  • Easy to Intermediate – this wrap is easy to do although you will need the following basic crochet knowledge – not recommended for beginners.
  • please check your stitch count – this IS important for joining!
  • I use US Crochet stitch terminology.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Part One:

Flowers – Make 4

Notes: You will have 8 petals on each of the following rounds – 3; 5; 7; 9; 11 and 13.

With A – make a magic ring OR CH 8; SL ST to form a ring.

RND 1: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 15 DC into ring; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

With B – join into any DC ST.

RND 2:  Work 1 SC; CH 3; SKIP next DC. *Work 1 SC into next DC; CH 3; SKIP next DC.**
Repeat from * to ** 6 more times. SL ST into first SC worked.

RND 3: *Work [1 SC; 1 HDC; CH 2; 1 HDC; 1 SC] into next 3 CH space; SKIP SC.**
Repeat from * to ** 7 more times; SL ST into first SC worked. (4 STS for each petal)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

With C – join around ANY SKIPPED SC of RND 2 with a BPSC – Back Post Single Crochet.

RND 4: *CH 4; work 1 BPSC around next SKIPPED SC.**
Repeat from * to ** 6 more times; CH 4; SL ST into first BPSC.

RND 5: * Work [1 SC; 1 HDC; 1 DC; CH 2; 1 DC; 1 HDC; 1 SC] into next 4 CH space; SKIP BPSC.**
Repeat from * to ** 7 more times; SL ST into first SC worked. (6 STS for each petal)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

With D – join around ANY SKIPPED BPSC of RND 4 with a BPSC – Back Post Single Crochet.

RND 6: *CH 6; work 1 BPSC around next SKIPPED BPSC.**
Repeat from * to ** 6 more times; CH 6; SL ST into first BPSC.

RND 7: * Work [1 SC; 1 HDC; 1 DC; 1 TR;  CH 2; 1 TR; 1 DC; 1 HDC; 1 SC] into next 4 CH space; SKIP BPSC.**
Repeat from * to ** 7 more times; SL ST into first SC worked. (8 STS for each petal)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

With E – join around ANY SKIPPED BPSC of RND 6 with a BPSC – Back Post Single Crochet.

RND 8: *CH 6; work 1 BPSC around next SKIPPED BPSC.**
Repeat from * to ** 6 more times; CH 6; SL ST into first BPSC.

RND 9: *Work [1 SC; 1 HDC; 1 DC; 2 TR;  CH 2; 2 TR; 1 DC; 1 HDC; 1 SC] into next 6 CH space; SKIP BPSC.**
