INSTRUCTIONS:
Notes: On color changing – I used 10 g mini balls of yarn – so I continued on with a new color wherever the old one ended. So my color changes are irregular. This is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL.
You can change color at the start of each round/or at the start of a new stitch variation.
This is completely up to you!
For this second section I used approx 40 g of yarn – 4 x 10 g;
I did NOT fasten off after the last round because I continued with my yarn for the first round of section 3!
You will CH 2 at the START of each round – this DOES NOT COUNT as a stitch – you will mark the Stitch AFTER the 2 CH.
RND 16: CH 2; *work 1 DC into top of first 3DCtog; work 1 DC into each of next 2 CH.*
Repeat from * to ** 33 more times; SL ST into FIRST DC worked.
(102 DC)
Special Stitch:
Cluster – work 3DCtog (3 Double Crochet Stitches together) into SAME space; CH 1 to close cluster.
Note – to avoid confusion – the CH 1 to close the cluster is NOT the same CH 1 as in the instructions;
the cluster CH 1 is part of the STITCH -the CH 1 in the instructions below is part of the round!
RND 17: CH 2; work Cluster into FIRST DC; CH 1; SKIP next DC. *Work Cluster into next DC; CH 1; SKIP next DC.** Repeat from * to ** 49 more times; SL ST into FIRST DC worked.
(51 x Clusters; 51 x 1 CH spaces)
Special Stitch:
FPDC – front post double crochet
RND 18: CH 2; *work FPDC around next Cluster; CH 1.**
Repeat from * to ** 50 more times; SL ST into FIRST FPDC worked.
(51 x FPDC; 51 x 1 CH spaces)
RND 19: CH 2; work Cluster into FIRST FPDC; CH 1. *Work Cluster into next FPDC; CH 1.**
Repeat from * to ** 49 more times; SL ST into first FPDC.
