Instructions:

Rainbow Pocket:

Colour sequence – dark purple; baby blue; apple green; sunshine; raspberry; lavender

Make a magic ring;

ROW 1: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 7 DC into ring (8 DC).
Fasten off and weave in ends.

ROW 2: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into same ST; work 2 DC into each ST until end (16 DC).
Fasten off and weave in ends.

ROW 3: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into same ST; work 1 DC into next ST.
*Work 2 DC into next ST; work 1 DC into next ST.** Repeat from * to ** until end (25).
Fasten off and weave in ends.

ROW 4: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into same ST; work 1 DC into next 2 STS.
*Work 2 DC into next ST; work 1 DC into next 2 STS.** Repeat from * to ** until end (32).
Fasten off and weave in ends.

ROW 5: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into same ST; work 1 DC into next 3 STS.
*Work 2 DC into next ST; work 1 DC into next 3 STS.** Repeat from * to ** until end (40)

Little Cloud Appliques:

Make a magic ring with natural yarn

RND 1: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 11 DC into ring; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH;
RND 2: Free form – work SC; HDC; DC randomly into STS to create ‘petals’;
exp – work [1 SC; 1 HDC; 1 DC] into next SC; work [1 DC; 1 HDC; 1 SC] into next SC; work SL ST into next SC; work [ 2 SC; 1 HDC] into next SC; work [2 DC; 1 HDC; 1 SC] into next SC; work SL ST into next SC.

Bed Cloud:

CH 15 with natural yarn

NOTE: the first 4 CH counts as 1 DC and 1 foundation CH.

RND 1: Work 1 DC into 5th CH from hook; work 1 DC into next 10 CH; work 6 DC into last CH; continue working in the round; work 1 DC into next 10 DC; work 5 DC into next CH; SL ST into 3rd of next 3 CH. (32 DC)

RND 2: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into SAME CH; work 1 DC into next 10 DC; work 2 DC into next DC; work 1 DC into next DC; work 2 DC into next 2 DC; work 1 DC into next DC; work 2 DC into next DC; work 1 DC into next 10 DC; work 2 DC into next DC; work 1 DC into next DC; work 2 DC into 2 DC; work 1 DC into next DC; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH.

RND 3: Free form – look at Little Cloud Appliques round 2.

Blanket:

CH 16 with for boy lavender/for girl pink yarn

ROW 1: Work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook; work 1 SC into each CH until end; TURN (15 SC)

ROW 2: CH 1; work 1 HDC into each SC until end; TURN (15 HDC)

ROW 3: CH 1; work 1 SC into each HDC until end; TURN (15 SC)

Repeat ROW 2 and 3 two more times.

Work 6 SC evenly down the side; starting in corner; (work [1 SC; 1 HDC] into next CH; work [1 HDC; 1 SC] into next CH) x 5; work 1 SC into corner; work 6 SC evenly up the side.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Pillow:

CH 11 with for boy baby blue/for girl ballet pink yarn

ROW 1: Work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook; work 1 SC into each CH until end; TURN (10 SC)

ROW 2-4: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC until end; TURN (10 SC)

Fold piece in half and SC all around – 2 SC into each corner.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Little Cupcake:

Note: the rounds are worked continuously – you might want to use a stitch marker to mark your rounds.

Base: with sand yarn

Make a magic ring;

RND 1: work 6 SC into ring;

RND 2: work 2 SC into each SC all around (12 SC);

RND 3: work into back-loops – *work 2 SC into next SC; work 1 SC into next SC.**
Repeat from * to ** all around (18 SC)

RND 4-5: work 1 SC into each SC all around (18 SC)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Top: with kingfischer/raspberry yarn

Make a magic ring;

Repeat base instructions RND 1 – 3.
Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
Stuff and sew top to base.

Flower Cushion:

Make a magic ring with pale lilac/peach yarn

RND 1: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 11 DC into ring; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH;

RND 2: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into same ST; work 2 DC into each ST all around; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH (24 DC)

RND 3: Work [1 SC; 1 HDC; 1 DC] into first DC; work [1 DC; 1 HDC; 1 SC] into next DC; SL ST into next DC. * Work [1 SC; 1 HDC; 1 DC] into next DC; work [1 DC; 1 HDC; 1 SC] into next DC; SL ST into next DC. ** Repeat from * to ** 6 more times; (8 petals); SL ST into first SC worked.

TURN flower with back facing you;

Work up 24 SC all around – (insert hook underneath RND 2 DC; work SC) x 24; SL ST into first SC worked;

TURN flower with front facing you; remove hook and insert from front to back into first SC;

(SC2tog; work 1 SC into next) x 18; (18 SC); continue working in the round;
(SC2tog) x 12; SL ST into first ST;
Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
Stuff and sew opening close.

Flower Table:

Make a magic ring with Red Violet yarn

RND 1: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 11 DC into ring; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH;

RND 2: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into same ST; work 2 DC into each ST all around; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH (24 DC).

RND 3: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into same ST; work 1 DC into next ST.
*Work 2 DC into next ST; work 1 DC into next ST. ** Repeat from * to ** all around; SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH (36 DC).

RND 4: (Work [1 SC; 1 HDC; 1 SC] into next ST; SL ST into next) x 18 times; SL ST into first SC worked (18 Petals).

TURN flower with back facing you;

Work up 36 SC all around – (insert hook underneath RND 2 DC; work SC) x 24; SL ST into first SC worked; work another round of 36 SC.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Little Cup:

Note: the rounds are worked continuously – you might want to use a stitch marker to mark your rounds.

Make a magic ring with sunshine/lilac yarn

RND 1: work 6 SC into ring;

RND 2: work 2 SC into each SC all around (12 SC);

RND 3: for this round work into back-loops – work 1 SC into each SC all around (12 SC);

RND 4-5: work 1 SC into each SC all around (12 SC)

CH 6; SL ST into exposed loop directly below – this is the handle.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
