Abbreviations:  US Terminology

CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop
RS – Right side
WS – Wrong side

Instructions:

NB: take NOTE on HOW you end a section – you will either end with a WS (wrong side) or RS (right side) row.
Read the instructions!

Section 3:

With D – join into first SC.

Special Stitch: Cluster – work 5DCtog into same SC.

RS – ROW 17: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); CH 2; (work Cluster into next SC; CH 3) x 19 times; work Cluster into next SC; CH 2; work 1 DC into last SC; TURN.

ROW 18: CH 1; work 1 SC into first DC; CH 2; (work 1 SC into top of next Cluster; CH 3) x 19 times; work 1 SC into last Cluster; CH 2; work 1 SC into last DC; TURN.

ROW 19: CH 5 (counts as 1 DC and 2 CH); (work Cluster into next SC; CH 3) x 19 times; work Cluster into next SC; CH 2; work 1 DC into last SC; TURN.

ROW 20: Repeat row 18.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Note you will end with a Wrong Side Row.

With C – join into first SC.

RS – ROW 21: CH 1; work 1 SC into first SC; CH 2; (work 1 SC into next SC; CH 4) x 19 times; work 1 SC into next SC; CH 2; work 1 SC into last SC; TURN.

ROW 22: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); (work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into next SC) x 20 more times; work 1 DC into last SC; TURN.

ROW 23-27: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); (work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into next 2 CH space) x 20 times; work 1 DC into last DC; TURN.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Note you will end with a Right Side Row.
