Ice Cream Trio Crochet Washcloth Two
– Free Crochet Along –

Supplies/Materials:

  • Yarn –Vinnis Colours Nikkim (cotton yarn) approx 390 yards (357 meters) 3 x 50 g balls (5.25 oz/150g)
    Weight – DK (11 wpi)
  • Hook – 3, 50 mm (E) – Clover
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle

Colors:
A – Princess Pink 50 g x 1
B – Pink 50 g x 1
C – Princess Baby Mink 50 g x 1

Abbreviations: US Terminology
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
RS – right side
WS- wrong side

Gauge:
Not necessary for this project to be perfect.
With the yarn, hook and my tension:
9 HDC x 4 ROWS = 2 inches x 1,2 inches (5 cm x 3 cm)
However if you use a different yarn and/or hook sizing will differ.

Finished Size:
Approx 10 x 10 inches (26 x 26 cm)

Pattern Notes:
Stitch count is important!

Instructions:

Second Washcloth Pattern:

With B CH 41
Stitch Pattern: Up And Down

 (RS) Row: work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook; work 1 SC into each CH until end (40 SC); TURN

Pattern Row: CH 1; work 1 SC into first SC; work 1 DC into next SC.
*Work 1 SC into next SC; work 1 DC into next SC. **
Repeat from * to ** until end (40 STS); TURN
Repeat Pattern Row until piece measures approx 10 inches (26 cm)

(RS)Next Row: CH 1; work 1 SC into each ST until end (40 SC).
Fasten off and weave in ends.
