Princess Neapolitan Baby Crochet Blanket Part Three
– Free Crochet Along –
Supplies/Materials:
- Yarn –Vinnis Colours Nikkim (cotton yarn) approx 1300 yards (1190 meters) 10 x 50 g balls (17,5 oz/500g)
Weight – DK (11 wpi) - Hook – 3, 50 mm (E) – Clover
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
Colors:
A – Natural 50 g x 2
B – Princess Pink 50 g x 2
C – Ballet Pink 50 g x 2
D – Pink 50 g x 2
E – Princess Mink 50 g x 2
Abbreviations: US Terminology
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
BLP – back loop
FLP – front loop
RS – right side
WS- wrong side
Gauge:
Not necessary for this project to be perfect.
With the yarn, hook and my tension:
9 HDC x 4 ROWS = 2 inches x 1,2 inches (5 cm x 3 cm)
However if you use a different yarn and/or hook sizing will differ.
Finished Size:
Approx 29 x 29 inches (74 x 74 cm)
Pattern Notes:
Each Stitch Pattern Row is repeated 4 times = 4 x Stitch Pattern Rows.
Stitch count is important!

Instructions:
Part Three
Continue Blanket Pattern Sequence as follows:
At the start of each next colour section work:
(RS)Next Row: work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook; work 1 SC into each CH until end (120 SC); TURN
(WS)Next Row: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC until end (120 SC); TURN
Work Pattern Stitch as given below.
At the end of each colour section work:
(RS)Next Row: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC until end (120 SC); TURN.
(WS)Next Row: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC until end (120 SC).
Fasten off and weave in ends.
With A – Repeat Pattern Stitch 3
With B – Repeat Pattern Stitch 4
With C – Repeat Pattern Stitch 5
With D – Repeat Pattern Stitch 1
With E – Repeat Pattern Stitch 2
