A beautiful multi stitch pattern that can be worked up in complimentary colors or would be a great stash buster and leftover yarn project!
Difficulty Level | Skills Required
Easy
Basic stitches in simple variations, simple repeats, color changes, shaping and finishing.
You will need to know basic stitches like SC (single crochet) and DC (double crochet).
Special stitches explained and provided in the instructions.
Materials
✔ Hook – 3, 25 mm (D)
✔ Scissors
✔ Yarn needle
Yarn:
Vinnis Colours – Serina 100% Bamboo (50 grams/111 meters/121 yards)
Weight – Sport (12 wpi) 2: Fine.
Approx 400 grams / 888 meters /968 yards (8 balls)
A – Baby Yellow – 1 x 50g
B – Coral – 1 x 50g
C – Nomvula’s Tangerine – 1 x 50g
D – Light Rust – 1 x 50g
E – Chocolate – 1 x 50g
F – Champagne – 1 x 50g
G – Pistachio – 1 x 50g
H – Cameo Green – 1 x 50g
Yarn Substitute:
Using the same type of yarn throughout the project is recommended. The pattern suggests Sport yarn (Weight – Sport (12 wpi) 2: Fine), but you are not limited to this type of yarn. Any yarn can be used if you take into consideration your sizing for the project will differ.
Tension | Gauge
Gauge is NOT necessary for this project to be perfect.
However COUNTING your stitches will ensure a true success of this project!
Blocking may be required – depended on yarn and tension.
Size
Final Wrap Size – Approx. Length = 44 inch / 110 cm Width = 16 inches / 41 cm
Remember – if you use/choose a different yarn weight/hook size your wrap will be a different size!
Helpful Tips | Hints
- It is recommended to weave in ends as you go.
- It is important to count the stitches to ensure success.
- Length is easily adjusted – Add and/or remove sections – and/or make the sections as small and as large as you like!
- Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the process.
