This throw was made in memory of a very special lady, whose smile and laugh were infectious as her love for her family. For a brief moment in time I was blessed to have my heart be touched by her magic.
Even though she was not my mother, she filled a gap in my heart that had ached for a mother’s love.

From the moment I chose the colors and from when my hook touched the yarn, she was guiding me. I hope that this throw will bring comfort and joy to her daughter for whom I have made this.

May it hug you tightly and warm you with love.
May it wrap you tightly and comfort you when you need it most.

For the beautiful lady who is missed dearly.

Blue skies and warm breezes kiss the garden,
as flowers wake, reaching for the morning sun.

Peaches and cream, tangerines, and raspberries sparkle,
as blooming petals twirl to dance for everyone.

A smile, a laugh, a soft touch,
as fragrant wisps catch the wings of butterflies.

The song of the garden fairies abounds
as the music of mother nature rises.

Rejoice, love, breathe…

Sombre skies whisper goodnight to the garden,
as flowers yawn and greet the moon.

One last passing whisper by the wind,
as petals curl, falling asleep to the night’s tune.
