2021 Crochet Square Jacket
This 2021 Crochet Square Jacket is crocheted with 24 unique and different squares.
Note: These are the SAME squares that were used for the Crochet A Block 2021 Throw.
What you will crochet:
- 25 Unique Squares (each square will be different in design);
- Joining
- Border.

2021 Crochet Square Jacket
Note: These are the SAME squares that were used for the Crochet A Block 2021 Throw.
Supplies/Materials:
- Yarn – Vinnis Colours Nikkim (cotton yarn) – approx 26 x 50 g balls – approx 3380 yards (3094 meters) ( 45,5 oz) (colors listed in pattern)
This project can also be a GREAT stashbuster or scrappy yarn project! - Hook – 4.00 mm (G)– I used Clover
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
Abbreviations: US Terminology
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop
Gauge:
Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect.
However if you use a different yarn and/or hook sizing will differ.
Finished Size:
Squares: Approx 9 x 9 inch (23 x 23 cm)
With my size squares jacket fits x-large.
Use a smaller hook or less squares for smaller sizes.
Pattern Notes: Depending on your gauge and crochet style you might need more or less yarn.
You can use ANY yarn and hook – just use the same brand/type throughout for consistency.

- A – Natural (3 x 50g)
- B – Baby Yellow (3 x 50g)
- C – Ballet Pink (3 x 50g)
- D – Pink (3 x 50g)
- E – Raspberry (4 x 50g)
- F – Old Gold (6 x 50g)
- G – Aubergine (4 x 50g)
