Crochet A Block Afghan 2016 – Free Crochet Pattern
This was a series called ‘Crochet A Block Afghan 2016’ – this was started to get me in the habit of doing at least one Afghan Block or Granny Square a week to hopefully be able to make my Sister In Law a blanket by the end of the year for Christmas 2016!. She has been hinting forever, but I have never been quite motivated. She has received her blanket and loves it!

To make this afghan is completely optional – the blocks can also be used for any project and will always be available.
My Yarn:
Medium worsted weight in 7 colors – 100 gram balls (1 each – with also the possibility to add a ball to each color depending on the size of the afghan)
My Hook:
4,00 mm
Size: 23 cm x 23 cm (approx. 9 inches) for each block
If size differs you might need to block to get your squares the same size!
Final Afghan Size:
Approx 120 cm x 140 cm
