Join me for a new crochet a block series in this free crochet along – Crochet A Block Afghan 2017!

Basic Material Requirements:
Yarn:
Your choice!
To make this afghan is completely optional – the blocks can also be used for any project and will always be available.
My Yarn:
Elle Pullskein 100g:
Duck Egg x 3 100g balls
Fog x 3 100g balls
Aran x 3 100g balls
Fuschia x 3 100g balls
This is only a suggestion and you can use any yarn and hook – you will just have ensure your blocks are the same size.
Here is the details of my yarn if you would like to look for a substitute:

Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3 : Light
Meterage – 330 yards (300 meters)
Unit weight – 100 grams (3.53 ounces)
Gauge – 22.0 sts = 4 inches
Hook size – 4mm (G) – 4.5mm

Texture – plied

Size: 23 cm x 23 cm (approx. 9 inches) for each block
If size differs you might need to block or also change hook size to get your squares the same size!
