Hexagon Crochet Fridays –  Facebook Group Challenges

This Hexagon Crochet Fridays crochet along is for my Facebook group challenges that are part of my Let’s Play Crochet initiative in my Facebook group.

There is no official sign up – you are more than welcome to join the Creative Crochet Workshop Facebook Group to join the events for sharing your progress or asking questions! These events usually take place on a Friday – time-zones do differ so be sure to check that! If you are not able to join the event you can do the hexagons anytime – you set your pace and work on your own times! Each post will have a link to this main introduction page that will have all the links to each hexagon as they become available!

Basic Requirements – but completely optional! (This is what I use :))
These hexagons are perfect for leftovers or to use in bigger projects! 

I am going to be making a baby size blanket – this is completely optional!

Skill Level – Easy

Basic stitches, simple shaping and finishing. Concentration required.

MATERIALS:

Yarn: Your choice! Check out Colors & Yarn below!

Notes: Tension is NOT necessary for this project to be perfect – same type of yarn and hook throughout the project is recommended.

Yarns: Eco-Cotton DK Nurturing Fibres

Colors:

  • Aqua – 125 g
  • Baltic – 125 g
  • Vanilla – 50 g
  • Mist – 75 g
  • Anvil – 75 g
  • Cobblestone – 75 g
  • Charcoal – 75 g
  • Pecan – 75 g

Hooks & Notions:

Hook 3. 75 (F) Clover 
Yarn needle

Notes: I use US Crochet stitch terminology. Due to the nature of this pattern – the yarn and hook used is only a suggestion and any substitute may be used. Size of finished product will vary depending on yarn and also size of hook used.

Size: approx 13 cm (5 inches) in diameter

There will be 12 Hexagon designs and 2 of each will be made!
