What you will crochet:
- Granny Inspired Squares ranging in difficulty from Easy to Challenging.
- Several projects will be available to make with the squares that are released and a blanket pattern will be available at the end of the Crochet Along!
Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate.

Hip To Be Square Crochet Along
Supplies/Materials:
- Yarn – I will be using cotton – there is no yarn recommendation!
Use whatever yarn you have in your stash or splurge and buy yarn!! - Hook – 3.50 mm (G)– I used Clover – You can use the hook recommended for your yarn!
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
Abbreviations: US Terminology
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop
Gauge:
Gauge is not necessary for this project/projects to be perfect.
However if you use a different yarn and/or hook sizing will differ.
Squares: Approx 6 x 6 inch (15 x 15 cm)
Pattern Notes: Depending on your gauge and crochet style you might need more or less yarn.
You can use ANY yarn and hook – just use the same brand/type throughout for consistency.
Colors:
- Will be given with each square and/or project
There is NO obligation to complete the projects or the blanket!
You are more than welcome to use the squares to for any project your heart desires!
