Basic stitches in simple variations, simple repeats, color changes, shaping and finishing.
Includes more involved stitch combinations like the popcorn stitch.

You will need to know basic stitches like the DC (double crochet).
Special stitches explained and links to tutorials are provided.

• Yarn – Charity Double Knit Pullskein (100g / 255 yards / 233 meters)
  Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3: Light.
• Hook – 4.00 mm (G) – Clover
• Scissors
• Yarn needle

INSTRUCTIONS:

FOUNDATION CHAIN:
Ch 6 and join with a SL ST to form a ring
RND 1: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC), work 15 DC into ring, Join with a SL ST into 3rd of 3 CH. (16 DC)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

RND 2: Join new color into any ST. CH 3 (counts as 1 DC), work 2 DC into same space (corner made), CH 2, SKIP 1 ST, work 1 DC into next ST, CH 2 SKIP 1 ST.
[Work 3 DC into next ST, CH 2, SKIP 1 ST, work 1 DC into next ST, CH 2 SKIP 1 ST.] repeat 3 times
SL ST into top of 3rd CH of 3 CH
Fasten off and weave in ends

RND 3: Join new color into the center ST of a corner (2nd DC of 3 DC CLUSTER in same ST). 
CH 3 (counts as 1 DC), work 4 DC into same space (corner made), CH 2, SKIP 1 ST, work 1 DC into next ST, CH 2, SKIP 1 ST.
[Work 5 DC into next ST, CH 2, SKIP 1 ST, work 1 DC into next ST, CH 2, SKIP 1 ST] repeat 3 times.
SL ST into top of 3rd CH of 3 CH
