My Crochet Under The Sea Playbook Mermaid Doll is part of a six-page, fun crochet sea themed playbook.
Each page is uniquely sea, beach themed. Includes a cute, little mermaid and friends.
Possibilities for lots of accessories and extras.
Instructions:

DOLLHOUSE PART EIGHT
Mermaid Tail/Jumpsuit:
Skirt:
CH 21
Work 1 SC into the 2nd CH from hook, work 1 SC into each CH until end (20 SC);
continue working in the round;
SL ST into 1 SC, CH 1, work 1 SC into each SC all around;
use a stitch marker to help keep track of rounds
RND 3 – 6: Work 1 SC into each SC all around
Fasten off and weave in ends
Fins: (make 4)
CH 9
Work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook;
work 1 HDC into next CH;
work 1 DC into next CH;
work 1 TR into next 3 CH;
work 1 DC into next CH;
work 1 HDC into last CH
Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing
Creating The Tail:
Sew two fins together (use the tail of one fin), but leave the top and a few stitches un-worked on the side
Fasten off and weave any remaining used tail in.
Use Photo as guide
Note: one fin will be sewed with the wrong side facing outwards – match the shapes
Divide the skirt in half – 10 STS on the left and 10 STS on the right;
sew one finished fin using the first 10 STS; then repeat with the second fin using the last 10 STS
The Straps: (make 2)
CH 21 – Note: leave a starting tail for sewing
Work 1 SC into the 2nd CH from hook, work 1 SC into the next 12 STS;
work 1 HDC into the next ST;
work 1 DC into the next 2 STS;
work 1 HDC into next ST;
work 1 SC into the last 3 STS (20 STS)
Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing
Sew on a Flower Button onto each strap (optional)
Sew straps into position 🙂
