CH – chain
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet
Size: 9 Inches
INSTRUCTIONS:
This pattern stitch is worked in a multiple of 7 STS plus 4
CH 39
ROW 1: Work 1 DC into 4th CH from hook; *SKIP 2 CH; work 5 DC into next CH; SKIP 2 CH; work 1 DC into next 2 CH. Repeat from * until end; TURN
ROW 2: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 2 DC into the space BEFORE the next DC; SKIP 3 DC;
*work 1 DC into space BETWEEN the 2nd and 3rd DC on next 5 DC group; work 1 DC into space BETWEEN 3rd and 4th DC of the SAME group; SKIP 3 DC; work 5 DC into space BETWEEN next 2 DC; SKIP 3 DC.
Repeat from * until end; working 2 DC into space BETWEEN last DC and 3 CH; work 1 DC into 3rd of 3 CH; TURN
ROW 3: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into space BETWEEN first 2 DC;
*SKIP 3 DC; work 5 DC into space BETWEEN next 2 DC; SKIP 3 DC; work 1 DC into space BETWEEN the 2nd and 3rd DC on next 5 DC group; work 1 DC into space BETWEEN 3rd and 4th DC of the SAME group.
Repeat from * until end, working 1 DC into space BETWEEN last DC and 3 CH; work 1 DC into 3rd of 3CH; TURN
REPEAT ROW 2 AND 3 FOR PATTERN
BORDER: SC evenly along all four edges.
