I use US Crochet stitch terminology
Abbreviations:
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)

SPECIAL STITCHES:
3DCluster: work 3 double crochet stitches together INTO SAME STITCH
FPSC: front post single crochet
- Step 1: Insert hook from the right side of the fabric into the gap to the hook-side of the next stitch to be worked.
- Step 2: Insert hook from back to front around the post into the far-side gap.
- Step 3: Yarn over and draw loop thru both gaps.
- Step 4: Yarn over and draw thru remaining 2 loops on hook.

INSTRUCTIONS:
PART NINE:
NOTE: you will NOT be turning after each row – you will end and start each new row at the START of the previous row.
WITH RIGHT SIDE FACING TOWARDS YOU: Join yarn into the 3rd of the 3CH at the top left hand corner.
ROW 1: CH 3 (this counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into SAME ST;
*CH 3; SKIP NEXT 6 CH; work 7 TR into next SC; CH 3; work 1 SC into next SC.
Repeat from * 16 times.
CH 3; work 4 TR into next SC; CH 3; SKIP NEXT 3 CH; work 4 TR into next SC;
CH 3; work 1 SC into next SC.
*CH 3; SKIP NEXT 6 CH; work 7 TR into next SC; CH 3; work 1 SC into next SC.
Repeat from * 16 times.
CH 3; work 2 DC into LAST DC ST.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
ROW 2: Join yarn into the 3rd of the 3CH – CH 3 (this counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into SAME ST;
CH 4;
*work 1 SC into the FIRST TR of next 7 TR group; CH 6;
work 1 SC into the LAST TR of same 7 TR group;
work [3DCluster; CH 3; 3DCluster] into NEXT SC.
Repeat until you reach the 4 TR group at the point.
Work 1 SC into the FIRST TR of next 4 TR group; CH 6
work [1 SC; 3DCluster; CH 3; 3DCluster; 1 SC] into the point 3 CH space.
CH 6; work 1 SC into the LAST TR of next 4 TR group;
work [3DCluster; CH 3; 3DCluster] into NEXT SC.
*CH 6; work 1 SC into the FIRST TR of next 7 TR group; CH 6;
work 1 SC into the LAST TR of same 7 TR group;
work [3DCluster; CH 3; 3DCluster] into NEXT SC.
Repeat until AFTER last 7 TR group worked;
CH 4; work 2 DC into LAST DC ST.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
ROW 3: Join yarn into the 3rd of the 3CH – CH 3 (this counts as 1 DC); work 1 DC into SAME ST;
CH 5;
*work 1 SC into next SC; CH 3; work 1 FPSC AROUND THE CENTER TR OF THE 7TH TR GROUP OF ROW 1; CH 3; work 1 SC into next SC; work 6 DC into next 3 CH.
Repeat from * 16 more times;
CH 6; work 1 SC into next SC; work 6 DC into point 3 CH space;
work 1 SC into next SC; CH 6; work 1 SC into next SC; work 6 DC into next 3 CH.
