for this section we are going to work into the FRONT-LOOPS along the bottom edge!

Repeat until the end of the edge (when you reach the side).
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Flower Trim:
This is worked into the exposed loops of the Straight Rows panel.
SL ST into a loop; *work 1 SC; CH 3; SL ST into a petal; CH 3; SL ST into next petal; CH 3; SKIP 10 LOOPS; SL ST into next loop.
Repeat from * 3 more times.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
NOTE: you can place the flowers ANYWHERE – if you do not want to do the Flower Trim; sew them at the handles; or make a key-chain trim to attach to the bag!
How To Line The Bag (optional):
Lining a crochet bag is something I myself do not often do – because most of them end up as projects bags for other crochet projects!
But sometimes you just make that ONE bag you want to take everywhere and not necessarily want to use as a project bag.
There are some fabulous lining tutorials online and I have chosen some that is fitting for this project!
- Nearly No Sew Bag Lining Tutorial from Moogly:
I love this one because it’s perfect for those of us that can almost not sew!
- Lining a Crochet Purse from CrochetnCrafts:
Here is one that is for the more sewing enthusiasts – also I love the little pockets that are added!
- How To Line A Crochet Bag from Posh Pooch Designs:
Lovely YouTube tutorial for those who prefer videos!
