INSTRUCTIONS:

PART SIX:

NOTE: The edging; flower trim and lining of the bag is completely optional!

Bottom Edging:

In Part Four – when you worked the bottom panel you were to work into the BACK-LOOPS –
for this section we are going to work into the FRONT-LOOPS along the bottom edge!

Edge: SL ST into first loop; CH 3; work 3DCtog into 3rd CH from hook; SL ST into SAME CH (first bobble created); SL ST into next 2 loops;
*CH 3; work 3DCtog into 3rd CH from hook; SL ST into SAME CH;  SL ST into next 2 loops.
Repeat until the end of the edge (when you reach the side).
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Flower Trim:

This is worked into the exposed loops of the Straight Rows panel.

SL ST into a loop; *work 1 SC; CH 3; SL ST into a petal; CH 3; SL ST into next petal; CH 3; SKIP 10 LOOPS; SL ST into next loop.
Repeat from * 3 more times.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

NOTE: you can place the flowers ANYWHERE – if you do not want to do the Flower Trim; sew them at the handles; or make a key-chain trim to attach to the bag!

How To Line The Bag (optional):

Lining a crochet bag is something I myself do not often do – because most of them end up as projects bags for other crochet projects!

But sometimes you just make that ONE bag you want to take everywhere and not necessarily want to use as a project bag.

There are some fabulous lining tutorials online and I have chosen some that is fitting for this project!
