    Hi – it means stitches 🙂
    You join the new color into the space between any 2 stitches.

  2. Hi, now I am a bit lost. What does STS, in the following, means?

    With Coaldust – D

    join new color into the space between any 2 STS;

    RND 6: Work 1 SC into space; CH 1; *work 1 SC into space between next 2 STS; CH 1.
    Repeat from * all around; SL ST into first SC worked.
    (48 SC; 38 1 CH spaces)
    Fasten off and weave in ends.

  3. Always my Go-to site for inspiration. Thanks for another gorgeous pattern.
