TIP: hold the dress with the TOP part facing towards you!
*[SL ST; SC] into next loop;
[SC; HDC] into next loop;
2 DC into next loop;
[HDC; SC] into next loop;
[SC; SL ST] into next loop.**
Repeat from * to ** 5 more times – 6 Petals.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
(With new color join yarn into next row above and repeat instructions) x 2
Optional you can make more rows with frills!
Ear Flower:
With yarn make a magic ring;
(CH 3; work 2 DC into ring; CH 3; SL ST into ring) 5 times;
CH approx 8 CH – chain should fit snugly over ear – SL ST into back to form a loop.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Optional – before I weaved in my ends I added a bead as a decoration for the center.
Added the bead to the tail then sewed the tail away.
Buttons:
Add/sew press buttons to the neck chain.
Or if you added the button-loop – sew on your buttons.
There is no wrong or right way – it depends on your need.
The buttons are decoration and DO NOT have to be functional – you can sew the neck chain to the bodice part of the dress too – so that the neck chain slides over the teddy’s head!
