This Fold Up Teddy Crochet Play Set Teddy Dolls is the part of a super cute fun play set that folds
up into a little bag with pockets for all the parts.

CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop
RS – Right side
WS – Wrong side

INSTRUCTIONS:
Teddy Bear Doll:
CH 13 with natural/chestnut/white/dark brown yarn and 3, 00 mm hook
ROW 1: Work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook, work 1 SC into each CH until end (12 SC); TURN
ROW 2 – 50: CH 1, work 1 SC into each ST until end (12 SC); TURN
Fold piece in half; working thru both pieces and work as follows:
Work 1 SC into first ST; work 1 HDC into next ST; work 2 DC into next ST; work 2 DC into next ST;
work 1 HDC into next ST; work 1 SC into next ST. SL ST into same ST as last ST.
Work 1 SC into next ST; work 1 HDC into next ST; work 2 DC into next ST; work 2 DC into next ST;
work 1 HDC into next ST; work 1 SC into next ST. SL ST into same ST as last ST.
SL ST along the side until 4 rows from the top;
Work as follows into the next 4 rows:
*Work [1 SC; 1 HDC] into next row; work [1 HDC; 1 DC] into next row;
work [1 DC; 1 HDC] into next row; work [1 HDC; 1 SC] into next row.*
SL ST along the top until end then repeat from instructions from * to * into the next 4 rows.
Continue to SL ST thru both pieces, stopping about approx 5 CM until end to stuff body lightly.
To shape neck – first stuff a small amount just into the head then leave a small of space
empty then continue to stuff the rest of the body
Weave in ends.
Thread some brown yarn into a yarn needle then working thru the neck part; starting
at the side, weave the yarn back and forth until the other side.
Lightly pull thread to shape neck; knot yarn and weave in ends.
Snout:
With beige yarn and 3, 00 mm hook make a magic circle
RND 1: Work 6 SC into ring;
RND 2: Work 2 SC into each SC all around (12 SC); SL ST into first SC worked.
Leave a tail for sewing snout onto teddy bear.
Sew snout onto face use photos as guide. Using some black embroidery thread sew on details.
Then add some eyes.
Arms:
Join yarn with a SL ST to the side of the body about 1 or half inch from neck link;
CH 20;
Work 1 HDC into 2nd CH from hook; work 2 HDC into each CH until end; SL ST into side of body just below the starting SL ST; fasten off and weave in ends.
Repeat for other side.
With some yarn create ‘legs’ – weave yarn thru body and ‘wrap’ several times to create the ‘fold’ for legs.
Weave in ends.
