• Nova – pink 50 gr x 1 (B)
• Shimmy – pink 50 gr x 1 (C)
• Firefly – pink 50 gr x 1 (D)
• Celestial – green 50 gr x 1 (E)
• Ariel – green 50 gr x 1 (F)

Moya Shimmer weight 4 ply

Hooks & Notions:

Size 3.25 mm
Scissors
Yarn Needle

Abbreviations:

CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BPSC – back post single crochet (UK – BPDC)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• READ the instructions through first;
• Easy to Intermediate – this cushion is easy to do although you will need the following basic crochet knowledge – not recommended for beginners.
• please check your stitch count.
• I use US Crochet stitch terminology.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Part Three:

For the NEXT 2 Rounds work into back loops;

With A – join into any corner space;

RND 18: CH 3; work [1 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into corner; work 1 DC into next 33 DC;
*work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into next corner space; work 1 DC into next 33 DC..**
Repeat from * to ** 2 more times.
SL ST into 3^rd of 3 CH.
(37 DC on each side)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

With E – join into any corner space;

RND 19: CH 3; work [1 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into corner; work 1 DC into next 37 DC;
*work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into next corner space; work 1 DC into next 37 DC.**
Repeat from * to ** 2 more times.
SL ST into 3^rd of 3 CH.
(41 DC on each side)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Overlay Crochet Section:

With C – join into ANY 2^nd FRONT loop (RND 17) from the RIGHT HAND corner of a SIDE with a SL ST.

(Work 1 DC into next FRONT loop of RND 16 DC/FPDC; SKIP FRONT loop directly above DC just worked; work SL ST into next FRONT loop of RND 17) x 15; SKIP last DC; CH 20.
*SKIP corner CH; SKIP next DC; SL ST into next FRONT loop (RND 17);
work 1 DC into next FRONT loop of RND 16 DC/FPDC; SKIP FRONT loop directly above DC just worked; work SL ST into next FRONT loop of RND 17) x 15; SKIP last DC; CH 20.**. Repeat from * to ** 2 more times. SL ST into FIRST SL ST.

Pull 20 CH loops thru RND 18 corner (front to back) then thru RND 19 (back to front)

For the NEXT Round work into back loops;

With F – join into any corner space;

RND 20: CH 3; work [1 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into corner; work 1 DC into next 41 DC;
*work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into next corner space; work 1 DC into next 41 DC.**
Repeat from * to ** 2 more times. SL ST into 3^rd of 3 CH.
(45 DC on each side)
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Overlay Crochet Section:

NOTE: the 3 CH worked for the corner should be placed BEHIND the 20 CH loop.

With D – join into ANY 1^st FRONT loop of RND 19 from the RIGHT HAND corner of a SIDE with a SL ST – this is the FIRST exposed directly after a corner.

*SL ST into each loop until next corner (45 SL ST); CH 3 for the corner.**
Repeat from * to ** 3 more times; SL ST into FIRST SL ST.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
