Instructions:

NB: take NOTE on the RS – right side and WS – wrong side and your stitch count!

Section 6:

With Steel Grey (approx 25 g)

Special Stitch:
V- Stitch:
Work [1 DC; CH 1; 1 DC] into SAME space.
When you work a V-Stitch into another V-Stitch – you work into the 1 CH space between the 2 DC.

Note: the CH 3 at the start of Row 50 is also your turning chain for Row 51.

Join new yarn into first SC on the (RS) – Right Side – Front.

(RS) Row 48: CH 1; work 1 SC into each SC until end (120 SC); TURN.
Row 49: CH 1; work 1 SC into first SC; **CH 2; SKIP next 2 SC; work 1 SC into next 2 SC.**
Repeat from * to ** until last 3 SC; CH 2; SKIP next 2 SC; work 1 SC into last SC; TURN.
Row 50: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); *work V-Stitch into next 2 CH space; CH 1**. Repeat from * to ** until end; work 1 DC into last SC; TURN.

Row 51; 52 and 53:
CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); *work V-Stitch into next V-Stitch; CH 1.**  Repeat from * to ** until end; work 1 DC into turning CH; TURN.
NB Note: to get 120 SC on the next row; you will NOT WORK A SC into the turning CH – (30 x V-Stitches = 90; plus 29 in-between spaces = 119; plus first SC = 120)
(RS) Row 54: CH 1; work 1 SC into each DC; 1 CH space AND space in-between V-Stitches across (120 SC).
Fasten off and weave in ends.
