Abbreviations:  US Terminology

CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop
RS – Right side
WS – Wrong side

Instructions:

NB: take NOTE on HOW you end a section – you will either end with a WS (wrong side) or RS (right side) row.
Read the instructions!

Section 8:

With C – join into first DC.

RS – ROW 91: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); (work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into next 4 CH space) x 20 times; work 1 DC into last DC; TURN.

ROW 92-96: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC); (work [2 DC; 2 CH; 2 DC] into next 2 CH space) x 20 more times; work 1 DC into last DC; TURN.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Note you will end with a Wrong Side Row.

With A – join into first DC.

RS – ROW 97: CH 1; work 1 SC into first DC; CH 2; (work 1 SC into 2 CH space; CH 4) x 19 times; work 1 SC into next SC; CH 2; work 1 SC into last DC; TURN.

ROW 98: CH 1; work 1 SC into first SC; CH 2; (work 1 SC into next SC; CH 4) x 19 times; work 1 SC into next SC; CH 2; work 1 SC into last SC; TURN.

Special Stitch:
V-ST – work [1 DC; 1 CH; 1 DC] into same space.

ROW 99: CH 4 (counts as 1 DC and 1 CH space); (work V-ST into next SC; CH 1) x 20 times; CH 1;
work 1 DC into last SC; TURN.

ROW 100-102: CH 4 (counts as 1 DC and 1 CH space); (work V-ST into next V-ST 1 CH space; CH 1) x 20 times; CH 1; work 1 DC into last DC; TURN.

ROW 103: CH 1; work 1 SC into first DC; CH 2; (work 1 SC into next V-ST 1 CH space; CH 4) x 19 times; work 1 SC into next 1 CH space; CH 2; work 1 SC into last DC; TURN.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Note you will end with a Right Side Row.
