Materials
- Hook – 3, 50 mm (E)
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
Yarn:
Vinnis Colours Nikkim (cotton yarn) approx 1300 yards (1190 meters) 10 x 50 g balls (17,5 oz/500g)
Weight – DK (11 wpi)
Colors:
A – Natural 50 g x 2
B – Princess Pink 50 g x 2
C – Ballet Pink 50 g x 2
D – Pink 50 g x 2
E – Princess Mink 50 g x 2
Yarn Substitute:
Using the same type of yarn throughout the project is recommended. The pattern suggests DK yarn (Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3: Light Worsted), but you are not limited to this type of yarn. Any yarn can be used if you take into consideration your sizing for the project will differ.
Tension | Gauge
Not necessary for this project to be perfect.
With the yarn, hook and my tension:
9 HDC x 4 ROWS = 2 inches x 1,2 inches (5 cm x 3 cm)
However if you use a different yarn and/or hook sizing will differ.
Size
Approx 29 x 29 inches (74 x 74 cm)
Pattern Notes:
Each Stitch Pattern Row is repeated 4 times = 4 x Stitch Pattern Rows.
Stitch count is important!
Remember – if you use/choose a different yarn weight/hook size your project will be a different size!
