Abbreviations: US Terminology
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
SC – single crochet (UK – DC)
HDC – half double crochet (UK – HTR)
DC – double crochet (UK – TR)
TR – treble crochet (UK – DTR)
BLP – back loop
RS – Right side
WS – Wrong side

Instructions:
Section 12:
The colors I used:
Border:
Pink
Yarn usage: approx 30-40 grams of border color.
Start in the FIRST DC of either the bottom or top of blanket (NB: the sides with 185 STS)
NOTE: when joining the triangles to the blanket you will use any side with 14 STS, you will SKIP the corners of the triangle – round 1 only.
BORDER:
Special Stitch:
Picot: CH 3; SL ST into first CH of 3 CH.
RND 1: CH 1; work 1 SC into first DC; work 1 SC into next 3 DC;
#*over next 14 DC using the SL ST method join a Triangle to the blanket; work 1 SC into next DC.**
Repeat * to ** 5 more times.
Work 1 SC into next 3 DC;
*over next 14 DC using the SL ST method join a Triangle to the blanket; work 1 SC into next DC.**
Repeat * to ** 5 more times.##
Work 1 SC into next 4 DC; work [2 SC; Picot; 2 SC] into corner; work 1 SC into each DC across until next corner; work [2 SC; Picot; 2 SC] into corner.
Work 1 SC into next 4 DC; repeat from # to ## once more; work 1 SC into next 4 DC; work [2 SC; Picot; 2 SC] into corner; work 1 SC into each DC across until next corner; work [2 SC; Picot; 2 SC] into corner.
Note: you will be working along the sides of the triangle for this round.
Special Stitch:
Bobble: CH 4; work 4DCtog into first CH of 4 CH; SL ST into first CH of 4 CH.
RND 2: SL ST into next 3 SC; work 2SCtog over next SC and Triangle corner; work 1 SC into next 14 STS; work [1 SC; Bobble; 1 SC] into next corner; work 1 SC into next 14 STS.
*Work 3SCtog over next Triangle Corner; SC; Triangle Corner;
work 1 SC into next 14 STS; work [1 SC; Bobble; 1 SC] into next corner; work 1 SC into next 14 STS.** Repeat from * to ** 4 more times.
Work 2SCtog over next Triangle corner and SC; work 1 SC; work 2SCtog over next SC and Triangle corner; work 1 SC into next 14 STS; work [1 SC; Bobble; 1 SC] into next corner; work 1 SC into next 14 STS.

Fasten off and weave in ends.
REPEAT INSTRUCTIONS FOR OTHER TRIANGLE SIDE; STARTING IN FIRST SC.
